CHILD AND FAMILY TEAMS IN SOCIAL SERVICES
Teaming with families refers to child welfare workers working with families during the investigation or assessment and service provision in a manner that respects families and their strengths and ensures the workers' responsibility for child protection.The NC Family-Centered Meetings Project is funded through a contract with the NC Division of Social Services. This project is part of the Multiple-Response System child welfare reform effort in North Carolina. The NC Family-Centered Meetings Project is responsible for training child welfare workers in child and family teams that include family members in developing service plans.
