Sylester "Tee" Henderson has worked as a Trainer for Center for Family and Community Engagement since January 2005. She received her Bachelor of Social Work from Barton College in Wilson, NC. Sylester worked for the Wilson County Department of Social Services as the Family Group Conferencing Coordinator. There she developed and implemented the FGC model within the Children Services Section. As a result of Multiple Response System, she also prepared and facilitated Child and Family Team Meetings. She also has past experience in the areas of Work First Family Assistance and Mediation. Sylester's future goals for the Center for Family & Community Engagement include continuing curriculum revision and development, attending conferences and trainings, and offering training statewide. Ultimately Sylester would like to receive a Masters of Social Work.
